Trip Hazard Removal – FAQs

What counts as a trip hazard?

Any raised edge 5mm or higher between adjoining slabs is considered a trip hazard and a safety risk.

Do you replace concrete slabs?

No, we grind back the raised edge instead — faster and far cheaper than replacing the whole slab.

How much height can you remove?

We can safely grind down lips up to around 40mm depending on site conditions.

Is it noisy or dusty?

We use vacuum extraction and diamond grinders to minimise dust. Noise is moderate but usually manageable during business hours.

Will the ground area look different?

The ground section will be smooth and safe, though colour and texture may not perfectly match surrounding slabs.

Do you work in public areas?

Yes — we can work on footpaths, schools, retail, warehouses and other high-traffic areas with safe barricading.
