Floor Stripping – FAQs

Do you remove vinyl and carpet plus the glue?

Yes — we uplift coverings and mechanically remove adhesive residues so the concrete is clean and ready to receive your next system.

Can you strip tiles and thinset?

We remove tiles and grind back thinset/mortar to expose sound concrete. Tough areas may need extra passes; we’ll confirm after a test area.

What about waterproofing membranes?

We strip peel-and-stick or liquid-applied membranes using appropriate tooling. Some heavy membranes require staged removal.

Is there much dust or disruption?

We run high-efficiency vacuums with our grinders and plan zones to keep sites tidy. For busy sites we can work after-hours.

Will the slab be ready for new flooring?

Yes — we leave a clean, profiled surface and can moisture-check and prime if you’re moving to epoxy or other coatings.

Can you also install the new finish?

Yes — we handle polished concrete, grind & seal, epoxy and prep for new coverings. Tell us your plan and we’ll recommend the best path.
